UX at HOYTS

As a UX/UI Designer in the HOYTS Digital team, I carried out user interviews, research, prototyping, card sorts and presenting.

My time as a UX/UI Designer at HOYTS saw me work on the newly designed HOYTS website, the Qantas Frequent Flyer partnership, and Food & Beverage.

Back to Digital Work

New HOYTS Website

My role in the newly designed HOYTS website saw me create an organised style guide and Sketch pattern library integrated with Zeplin, refine and/or create new UI elements, carry out on-site user interviews, present designs to internal stakeholders, and create interactive prototypes.

My role in the newly designed HOYTS website allowed me to create an organised style guide and Sketch pattern library integrated with Zeplin, refine and/or create new UI elements, carry out on-site user interviews, present designs to internal stakeholders, and create interactive prototypes.

Presenting

I had the opportunity to both present work to internal and external stakeholders, and to teach employees on tools like Sketch and the importance of UX.

Qantas Frequent Flyer

For the Qantas Frequent Flyer (QFF) partnership, I helped carry out user interviews at various HOYTS locations, presented work to the QANTAS UX team, and designed the QFF integration in the HOYTS purchase flow.

HOYTS UX Board

Food and Beverage

As part of my team, I was the sole UX/UI Designer to help kick off the UX for an upcoming Food & Beverage ordering service at HOYTS. I carried out user interviews with customers and on-site staff, took part in workshops, and created wireframes for testing.

Interactive Prototypes

Along with creating prototypes in Invision, having experience as a Front-End Developer allows me to quickly create interactive prototypes that work in the browser with no need for an extra app. This also helped the full-stack developers in the team with CSS.
